Hundreds of mourners have attended the funeral of 24-year-old model Katy French.
Tributes were paid to the model at a service in St Patrick's church in Enniskerry by her mother Janet, father John and sister Jill.
Katy French's mother said that her daughter brought her smile and sparkle with her and that she was somebody who readily gave forgiveness.
Her mother also said that she had learned the difference she could make in the world through her charity work with GOAL.
The model's sister Jill described her as someone who was able to show love and forgiveness and who was emotionally fearless.
Many figures from the world of fashion, media and sport attended the funeral service.
Olympic champion swimmer Michelle de Bruin, Irish rugby star Shane Byrne and singer, Chris de Burgh were among the hundreds of mourners.
The Taoiseach was represented by the Aide de Compte, Captain Michael Tracey.
The 24-year-old socialite died on Thursday four days after she collapsed at a friend's house.
