The Pat Shortt-starring film 'Garage' has continued its award-winning success at festivals.
Shortt won the Best Actor award at the Monte Carlo Film Festival last weekend for his performance in the Lenny Abrahamson-directed film.
'Garage' also won the Jury Award at the Festival de Chatenay Malabry and the Grand Prix and Students Award at the Festival Cinessone last weekend.
The drama previously won the CICAE Award at the Directors Fortnight in Cannes and the Prix Coup de Coeur at the Dinard Film Festival.
Co-financed by RTÉ, 'Garage' tells the story of Josie (Shortt), the misfit caretaker of a crumbling petrol station in rural Ireland who finds his life changed forever over the course of a summer.
