The mother of the actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has died in Cork.
Geraldine Meyers-O'Keeffe, who was 51, died earlier today, 36 hours after being admitted to the Mercy Hospital in Cork.
She will be buried on Friday.
On Sunday Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested at Dublin Airport.
He was later released from Garda custody on bail and is due to appear at Dublin District Court next month on two charges under the Public Order Act.
