Sienna Miller has agreed a deal to star in the big screen version of the comic book, TV series and range of toys 'GI Joe'.
Variety reports that Miller will play a "femme fatale skilled in espionage" in the live action movie.
The film tells the story of Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity (GIJOE), a team of elite operatives who must combat the evil Cobra organisation, led by a Scottish arms dealer.
'GI Joe' will be directed by Stephen Sommers, whose other credits include 'The Mummy' and 'Van Helsing'.
Production on 'GI Joe' is due to begin in mid-February, with the film in cinemas in August 2009.
