Former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren has quit the latest series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' before the show even went on air.
The 61-year-old, who previously listed his fears as poisonous snakes and uncontrollable wild beasts, announced his decision to the group yesterday.
A show spokesperson said that the new series will kick off as planned tonight, with nine celebrities instead of ten.
The spokesperson said: "He flew 5,000 miles to take part, but on the day they were due to go into the jungle he changed his mind."
McLaren previously said: "I am utterly irresponsible, I am completely childish, and probably everything this production team and society hate."
The other contestants taking part in the show are former Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews, ex-'EastEnders' actor Marc Bannerman, 'Changing Rooms' star Anna Ryder Richardson, PR guru Lynne Franks, former 'Hollyoaks' star Gemma Atkinson, 1970s supermodel Janice Dickinson, Jason 'J' Brown from boyband 5ive, chef John Burton Race and football pundit Rodney Marsh.
A show spokesperson said: "The challenge is above and beyond anything faced by their predecessors. This year's trials are the most terrifying yet and the surprises will come thick and fast and from the moment their journey begins."
