Singer Lily Allen has landed her own television show, which will feature a mix of chat and music.
The 22-year-old singer is set to begin presenting her BBC3 show 'Lily Allen and Friends' next spring.
The show will be built around the idea behind social networking sites, with viewers being invited to become Lily's virtual friends online and suggest ideas, choose bands to perform and put questions to guests.
Allen said: "I'm so excited that BBC3 are giving me this chance. It's something I intend to have lots of fun with and I have some great ideas for the show. Next year is going to be a brilliant year."
A BBC spokesperson said: "Lily is opinionated, funny and charming in equal measure. She's a very natural performer and will be a television star."
Elaine Bedell, head of entertainment commissioning for BBC3, said: "I'm delighted that she's going to be one of the BBC's key entertainment faces."
