Television presenter Ulrika Jonsson has announced that she is expecting her fourth child, just weeks after revealing that she is to marry partner Brian Monet.
Jonsson revealed to Hello! magazine that the pregnancy was planned and said that she doesn't think about the fact that she will have four children by four different fathers.
The 40-year-old presenter said: “This was very much a planned pregnancy. But in all honesty, at my age, coupled with the stress I suffered last year, I was pretty doubtful if it would happen."
“I don’t give any thought to the fact that I will have four children by four fathers," she said.
“I used to think about it a couple of years ago, but now I’m utterly at ease with the fact that that is how my life has panned out."
"I’m extremely lucky. I have three amazing, beautiful children. The fact that relationships with their fathers didn’t work is not solely my responsibility," she said.
"I have reconciled that totally. I don’t care for track records as such. I’m a great, responsible mother who would do anything for her children.
Jonsson revealed to the magazine that she is now ten weeks pregnant, adding: "I am very aware that at my age there is a greater possibility of things going wrong or complications."
“But despite my feelings of caution and pessimism, this is kind of a dream come true for me."
