Producers for hit drama 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' have reportedly been forced to postpone a series of shoots because of the wildfires eating up huge areas of California.
The cast and crew of the show were told filming in Santa Clarita had been postponed indefinitely, following an area evacuation on Monday.
Production on another TV drama hit, '24', in Irvine, California was cancelled on Monday and Tuesday "due to nearby fires."
Several wildfires, which started over the weekend, have prompted governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to declare a state of emergency in seven Southern California counties.
The blazes have left one person dead and destroyed at least 1,300 homes and businesses, officials say. They have led to the biggest US evacuation since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
