Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are to produce a new television series for US cable network HBO.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the series will focus on the politics surrounding an international aid organisation, the lives of humanitarian workers and the people they help.
The series will be written by 'The Bourne Ultimatum' co-writer Scott Burns.
The trade daily says that the series has been an important project for Jolie since she filmed the aid worker drama 'Beyond Borders' in 2003.
