Actress Anne Charleston is set to return to 'Emmerdale' in the role of Edna Birch's sister Lily, this time causing trouble in the village.
According to the show's official website, Edna is initially thrilled to have Lily around but things soon change when she returns to her old ways.
Speaking about her return, Charleston said: “I love the character of Lily. And it’s nice to be playing her again."
"Her son Peter is in England on a business trip. Lily has been travelling with him and she decides to visit Edna in 'Emmerdale' while she’s there.”
“You can expect to see her reverting to type. She’s not the lovely lady she was last year. She is the way Edna describes her," she said.
