George Lucas has revealed that he has begun work on a live-action 'Star Wars' spinoff series for TV.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, the director said that the planned series would not feature major characters like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker.
"The Skywalkers aren't in it, and it's about minor characters," he told the newspaper.
He declined to reveal further details, but joked that the series would be about "the life of robots".
