Former 'Emmerdale' star Sheree Murphy and DJ Colin Murray were named as the most impressive spectacle wearers of 2007.
The pair took the top honours at the Specsavers' Celebrity Spectacle Wearers 2007 Awards.
Actress Sheree Murphy said: "I've been wearing glasses since I was about 13, but they've become a lot more fashionable in recent years."
"I generally wear my glasses during the day and I enjoy shopping for new ones as there are so many trendy options about now."
DJ Colin Murray said: "I thought I might struggle with wearing specs but actually it now feels like I've worn them forever - they are part of me and have become something of a fashion statement."
"I would rather be seen wearing them than without," he said.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberley in London.
