Pete Doherty reportedly tried to commit suicide when he first heard about his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss dating her new boyfriend.
The Babyshambles frontman was in rehab when he learnt about Moss's relationship with The Kills singer Jamie Hince, and allegedly swallowed a bottle of pills because he was so upset. He became sick after taking the drugs, which subsequently cleared out his system.
Doherty left the rehab clinic in Wiltshire last week after managing to stay clean for six weeks.
His minder Johnny 'Headlock' Jeannevol told the News of the World: "Pete's been really wound up over Kate showing off her new man. He told me he didn't know what the pills were, and took the lot. He doesn't care what drugs do to him - in fact, he loves finding out."
Doherty split up with the supermodel in July after reports surfaced that he had cheated on her. Moss has since announced she is engaged to Hince, while Doherty is reportedly engaged to model Irina Lazareanu.
