'Grey's Anatomy' is getting a new character in the fourth series.
The Hollywood Reporter says that actress Lauren Stamile has been cast in a major recurring role opposite Patrick Dempsey (Dr Derek Shepherd) in the hit medical drama.
The trade daily says that the producers of the show are keeping quiet on whether there will be onscreen romance between their two characters.
Stamile has previously appeared in 'CSI: NY', 'Criminal Minds' and 'Boston Legal'.
