Nicole Richie will not be getting married next week despite reports that she and fiancé Joel Madden were planning a small beach ceremony on Saturday 13 October.
The star, who is five months pregnant, was rumoured to tie the knot in Laguna, California, however Madden's band Good Charlotte are due to perform in Melbourne that night.
A source told US Weekly: "We are all laughing about it. The tour is still on and they have no marriage plans yet."
Wedding planner Lorraine Keseloff, who was believed to be organising the nuptials, also denied having any involvement.
She said: "I have no idea how this all got started. It's been the most bizarre weekend. It's all completely false."
