Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty is reportedly engaged to Canadian model Irina Lazareanu.
According to reports, the model was spotted wearing a diamond ring and when asked about it the 25-year-old said: "I very recently got engaged".
Doherty and Lazareanu have reportedly known each other for about 10 years, with the model previously acting as a backing singer for Doherty's band.
Lazareanu's representative declined to comment on reports of an engagement but a friend of the model told People magazine: "She had a huge rock on her finger and when I asked her about it, she said she was engaged".
Doherty's ex-girlfriend Kate Moss reportedly discovered Lazareanu and recently made the model the face of her TopShop collection.
