Natalie Portman is to star opposite Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal in 'Brothers', the new film from Irish director Jim Sheridan.
Variety reports that the drama is a remake of the multi award-winning Danish film 'Brødre', which was directed by Susanne Bier.
It tells the story of a man (Maguire) who is sent to fight in Afghanistan while his misfit brother (Gyllenhaal) cares for his wife (Portman) and child.
Portman will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium'; it opens on Friday 14 December.
