Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has voiced his support for troubled singer Amy Winehouse, saying that he believes she will become a stronger person.
Jagger said that he feels Winehouse will be able to get through her battle with drink and drugs, after she recently cancelled a string of gigs.
"I think everyone goes through this sort of thing when they become very famous," he told the BBC.
"Hopefully Amy will come out of the other side with equanimity and a new lease of life."
