Britney Spears is the subject of a new art exhibition in Hollywood.

Reuters reports that documentary makers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbatos have collected more than 50 pieces of work, including paintings and sculptures, for the 'Just Britney' exhibition at their World of Wonder gallery.

Among the works on show in the exhibition are 'Gum Blond XLVIII', a portrait of the singer by Jason Kronenwald made of chewed bubble gum, and 'Snake Charmer' by Jamie Boling, which is based on a less-than-flattering paparazzi photo of Spears getting out of a car.

Commenting on the show, co-curator Steven Corfe said: "We reached out to a number of artists and found Britney is such a polarising character these days."
