'Coronation Street's David Platt is reportedly set to try to kill his sister Sarah's fiancé in the coming weeks.
According to Digital Spy, David, played by Jack P Shepherd, plans the attack after he is banned from attending the couple's wedding.
Reports suggest that David will sneak into the builder's yard and loosen scaffolding bolts, causing his future brother-in-law Jason to fall from a height.
The accident leaves Jason fighting for his life ahead of his planned wedding to Sarah.
According to reports, police are later unable to convict David for the crime because there is insufficient evidence.
