In her new role as a producer, 'Grey's Anatomy' star Katherine Heigl has optioned the film rights to the bestselling Jacqueline Sheehan novel 'Lost & Found'.
Variety reports that Sheehan's book tells the story of a widowed psychologist who moves to an island to work in an animal hospital.
Heigl will produce the film with her mother Nancy through their new production company.
It is not known if she will star in the film.
Heigl can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Knocked Up'.
