Pete Doherty has said he will move in with Pogues frontman Shane McGowan after his most recent stint in rehab.
The Babyshambles frontman is currently undergoing another legally enforced attempt to kick his addictions to heroin and crack cocaine and is in rehab at The Clouds Clinic in Wiltshire.
When he comes out, however, he will have nowhere to live and so will move into MacGowan’s flat, which is located above the Boogaloo Bar in Highgate, north London.
A source told the Daily Star: “Pete will crash in the flat above the Boogaloo pub when he comes back to London. The Boogaloo Bar has been home to a number of Babyshambles gigs over the years and this is one of his main reasons he wants to move there.
"It’s more of a musical institution than a boozer anyway. Pete believes that’ll help him creatively to be constantly at a place that inspires him and where he’s performed.”
