'Emmerdale' resident Nicola Blackstock is set to stir things up even more in the coming weeks when she sets her sights on David Metcalfe.
According to the show's official website, actor Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David said: "I think he sees the business part as a failure at first, but he’s intrigued by Nicola and really likes her."
"He doesn’t know that she's Nicola Blackstock. He keeps going back into the village and telling everyone about her."
Speaking about David's current girlfriend Jasmine, the actor said: "Poor Jasmine. It's quite awful because he's really wrapped up in this new world of money and business. Jasmine gets left by the wayside."
"Because he's so business-minded he's quite naïve to the fact that Nicola is trying to split him and Jasmine up. Jasmine knows what's going on, like girls always do."
