Owen Wilson’s has refused to go to rehab following his suicide attempt.
The Wedding Crashers star was expected to check in to rehab this week after leaving Cedars-Sinai hospital.
However, despite family and friends urging him to get help, Wilson apparently "doesn’t think he really has a problem," according to a source close to the star.
The actor has instead reportedly hired a $750-a-day 'sober companion' who will stay by the comedy actor's side 24 hours a day.
He is also planning a road trip to spend some quality time alone and will be accompanied by his sober companion.
Wilson was found distressed at his home in Santa Monica, California on 26 August and taken to a nearby hospital emergency room.
He was transferred to Cedars-Sinai hospital, where he stayed for observation for a week.
