'Desperate Housewives' star Jesse Metcalfe has joined the cast of the new horror thriller 'Insanitarium'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Metcalfe will star opposite actors from some of the biggest US TV series: Peter Stormare ('Prison Break'), Kiele Sanchez ('Lost') and Kevin Sussman ('Ugly Betty').
The film tells the story of a man (Metcalfe) who pretends to be insane in order to save his sister (Sanchez) from being involuntarily committed.
However, once inside the facility, they discover that a doctor (Stormare) is testing drugs on his patients and turning them into flesh-eating killers.
