Irish costume designer Joan Bergin has received an Emmy for outstanding costumes for a series for her work on 'The Tudors'.
The ten-episode drama was filmed in 2006 in Ardmore Studios Bray and many locations around Ireland and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
The series also picked up the Emmy for outstanding original main title theme music, for composer Trevor Morris.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys for programs and individual achievements at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last Saturday night.
Emmys in 29 other categories will be presented at the Primetime Emmy Awards show on Sunday, September 16.
