Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has criticised 'The X Factor' for lowering the age-limit for competitors on the talent show.
The singer has claimed that 14-year-olds are too young to be taking part in the television show.
According to The Sun, Cole said: "At that age you're very delicate. You are going through your teenage years which are the craziest of your life. You don't quite know if you're coming or going or who you are."
"To have someone criticise you when you're that young is very hard. Give them a few years, a chance to finish school and they'll be ready," she said.
