Kelly Osbourne has revealed the identity of her favourite ‘X Factor’ judge - and it is not her mother. The 22-year-old said Simon Cowell was "jealous" and "stupid" to get rid of her favoured judge, Louis Walsh.
Yesterday, Sharon Osbourne's brother David Arden was quoted in the News of the World as saying his sister hates Cowell and that she is annoyed her singers have never won the show.
In this week's issue of Star magazine, Osbourne says of her mother: "She wants this badly. She is the only one of the original judges who hasn't won yet."
She said: "I love Louis. Even though my mum is on there, he's my favourite. He's like an uncle to me. He's my neighbour and we go for lunch together. He's very smart and people portray him as a bitch, but he's a very, very successful man in the music industry and knows what he's talking about. Simon was stupid to fire him."
She said: "Simon's a bit jealous of Louis because Louis knows what he's talking about - not that Simon doesn't - and sometimes Louis does get one up on him. Simon doesn't like that."
But she added that Simon should get "more credit" for demonstrating that he was a "strong person" by bringing Walsh back.
Osbourne, who is dating rock star Jarrod Gorbel and is set to star in the West End musical ‘Chicago’, denied there were any problems between her mother and new judge Dannii Minogue.
She said: "My mum's really happy there's another girl there".
She joked of her mother's plastic surgery: "Sometimes she has gone too far with the Restylane and Botox, and ended up looking extremely surprised."
