'Coronation Street' and 'Doctor Who' were the big winners at the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards.
The soap claimed four awards on the night, while rival soap 'EastEnders' only bagged one award out of nine nominations.
'Coronation Street' won the Best Soap award, as well as Best Newcomer for Kym Ryder (Michelle Connor), Best Soap Actress for Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) and Best Soap Storyline.
'EastEnders' star Charlie Clements (Bradley Branning) won the award for Best Soap Actor.
'Doctor Who' claimed two awards at the ceremony, Best Actor for its star David Tennant and Best Loved Drama.
Former 'EastEnders' star Jill Halfpenny won the Best Actress award for her role in 'Waterloo Road'.
'The X Factor' took the award for Best Talent Show, while 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' was named Best Reality TV Show.
'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' won Best Entertainment Show and 'Desperate Housewives' won Best International TV Show.
Speaking about her win 'Coronation Street' star Kym Ryder said: "I'm so happy. It feels like everything else I've done has been leading up to 'Coronation Street'. I absolutely love it and it's brilliant to be so near home."
'Doctor Who' star David Tennant said: "I'm having the time of my life making 'Doctor Who' and if people like it as much as they seem to, it really means the world to me."
