'Desperate Housewives' actor Jesse Metcalfe has reportedly got a tattoo of his singer girlfriend Nadine Coyle on his arm.
According to reports, the actor said that the new tattoo is to remind him of the heartache he went through after he split from the Girls Aloud star.
MTV reports that the image shows "Nadine with a ripped out heart in front of a rising sun in the shape of Ireland".
Metcalfe reportedly displayed the tattoo on US TV, saying: "It’s not that I’m not over the break-up, it’s just that I really wanted to remember what it felt like to be in that relationship so that I never really go there again. I went through a hard break-up."
"Every tattoo is a memory. It doesn't mean you are staying in that moment or obsessing about it. I chose to get that tattoo, especially with the heart on the arm, because I chose to wear my heart on my sleeve."
Coyle's fellow Girls Aloud star Nicole Roberts recently confirmed that the singer was now dating Metcalfe again.
