Following his hospitalisation, Owen Wilson has dropped out of starring in the Ben Stiller-directed ensemble comedy 'Tropic Thunder'.
Variety reports that Wilson was due to begin a weeklong shoot in two to three weeks.
The trade daily says that the decision was a mutual agreement between Stiller and Wilson.
Stiller, who also stars in the movie opposite Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr, began shooting the film in Hawaii six weeks ago.
It is not clear whether Wilson's role will be recast or removed from the script.
'Tropic Thunder' tells the story of a group of famous actors making a big budget war movie who find themselves forced into a combat situation.
