Jennifer Lopez is working on a new television series about five teenagers who run a Quinceanera party-planning business in Miami.
The half-hour comedy-drama is named 'The Amigas Sweet 15 Club' and is based on an original idea by Jane Startz, producer of 'The Baby-Sitters Club' film and television series.
The series will follow the girls as they use their talents - DJing, singing, graphic designing - to embark on a party-planning business aimed at helping Latina girls throw their dream Quinceanera (Sweet 15) bashes.
Lopez and Startz will executive produce the series, which they intend to develop into a franchise.
