'The Simple Life' star Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden are reported to be engaged.
According to People magazine, the pair, who are expecting a baby together, got engaged last week.
The magazine reports that DJ Kane from US radio station Hot 99.5 announced that the couple were planning to marry when he was speaking to the crowd after a Good Charlotte gig in Arlington.
When Madden was walking off stage the DJ said: "He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel."
According to the magazine, Madden looked back but did not say anything before he left the stage.
DJ Kane later said: "We heard this morning" from a "good source". He also claimed that he had congratulated Madden earlier in the night and the star had replied: "Thank you so much".
"They're very excited about the baby and the wedding. They want to keep their personal life personal," DJ Kane said.
