A woman involved in last month's Lindsay Lohan car chase incident has filed a lawsuit against the actress.
According to court documents, Tracie Rice was a passenger in a car driven by Michelle Peck, the mother of Lohan's former personal assistant, which was involved in a high-speed car chase.
"Plaintiff was convinced that their lives were in danger and that they had to outrun the pursuing car or they might be killed," the suit said.
Rice is reportedly seeking unspecified damages for assault and infliction of emotional distress by the 21-year-old actress.
Lohan was subsequently arrested by police in Santa Monica and accused of criminal drunken driving and drug possession after the chase on 24 July.
Lohan had just been released from a rehabilitation clinic.
Her lawyer issued a statement saying the actress suffered a relapse and was receiving medical care.
