Food continues to be a hot topic in the Big Brother house today with Carole arguing with several of the housemates over her dominance in the kitchen.
After an early-morning dispute over cereal with Kara-Louise, Carole rejected Gerry’s accusation this morning that she was controlling the kitchen. "I'm not controlling anything, Gerry," Carole protested. "Do you know what? You don't just go around taking other people's stuff." Gerry’s response that it was his stuff as well fell on deaf ears.
Later, Liam and Ziggy decided it was time to take back control of their own lunch. "The fact is, when Carole goes near the kitchen we do feel uncomfortable going near it," Ziggy told Liam. "I wanna live in this House. I want my time here and I want to enjoy it."
"My life is not being waited on hand and foot," said Liam. "Nor is mine," said Ziggy. "The impression we may be putting across is that we're just sitting there and letting her do things."
Liam and Ziggy decided to make their own omelettes for lunch and were joined by Tracey. The three discussed the best way forward with Carole and the cooking arrangements.
"The last thing I ever wanna do in here is upset Carole because she's been so good to us," explained Ziggy. "I think we need to show her that other people can do it."
This is the second day of unrest in the house over food with several of the housemates yesterday plotting a coup to take over the shopping.
Meanwhile twins Sam and Amanda won immunity from this week's eviction by winning an assault course task.
Housemates had to complete the course, then train to improve their strength and agility, before tackling the course for a second time. Sam and Amanda - who are now classed as a single housemate - cut their time by 46% and gained immunity from this week's eviction vote, becoming "body gurus".
