Opera singer Luciano Pavarotti is reportedly doing much better today, after being admitted to hospital in Italy two days ago.
According to reports, the singer's wife said today: "He is calm, he is talking and joking."
Pavarotti was taken to hospital in his hometown of Modena on Wednesday after suffering from a high fever.
Reports claim that the star, who underwent surgery to remove a pancreatic tumour last year, is now being treated in the hospital's cancer ward.
The singer's wife also said that it was hoped that her husband would be released from hospital in the coming days. "The doctors are very positive," she said.
