'Desperate Housewives' star Jesse Metcalfe has said he hopes to become "the next James Blunt" when he launches his singing career.
According to Digital Spy, the actor is due to release his debut album later this year and is confident that it will be a success.
Metcalfe said: "People are going to be shocked by my first album."
"It is going to reveal my unseen mature side and I've even co-written some of the songs. I think I could be the next James Blunt," he said.
