Pop singer Britney Spears reportedly stripped down to the waist "for no apparent reason" while on the set of a magazine photoshoot.
The singer was preparing to have photographs taken for the front cover of Allure magazine at the time.
Allure editor Linda Wells told The Sun: "Britney showed up for Allure's cover shoot on time and ready to work."
"She was entirely unselfconscious. She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup."
"She was agreeable and co-operative but that was the last we saw of her... she missed four appointments for an interview."
A photograph of Spears will still appear on the front cover of the magazine's September issue despite the fact that she did not attend the interview.
