'EastEnders' star Steve McFadden was forced to take time off filming after reportedly being injured in a brawl outside a pub.
According to The Sun, the actor, who plays Phil Mitchell in the show, was left with bruises after another customer hit him outside a pub in Cornwall.
An onlooker reportedly said: "Steve walked away with a massive shiner complaining that his eye socket was broken."
A show source told the paper: "We heard Steve was in a bad way and had to cancel all his scenes - it's the talk of the set. Any time a big star is off it throws things off kilter."
An 'EastEnders' spokesperson refused to comment on the alleged incident, saying: "This is a personal matter".
McFadden returned to the set of the BBC soap to film his scenes yesterday.
