Pete Doherty has begged Kate Moss to "take me back" but then revealed he had proposed to another woman.
Doherty lifted the lid on his stormy relationship with Kate in a rambling newspaper interview branding her a “nasty old rag” in one breath and declaring his undying love for the supermodel in the next.
He blamed their split on her "jealousy" and then as an aside revealed he had just proposed to another woman.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror he said: "I made rather a rash gesture. It was more in a fit of anger. I asked this bird Christine to marry me.
"She's gone back to Paris and I don't know what to do," he said.
But he begged Kate to come back to him. “Kate has broken my heart. I love her with all my heart. I like the way she walks and talks. I love her bones. I love her brains. I don’t want any other girl.”
Doherty, who has just left rehab told the Mirror: "There's been this lockdown and I can't get hold of her.
"This is the only way I can get through [to her]. Kate, if you love me then realise I don't want any other girl.”
Moss dumped Doherty, 28, after she accused him of cheating.
