Jessica Simpson's manager father has forced her to turn down a potentially Oscar-winning role as a porn star - insisting she keep her clothes on.
Former preacher Joe Simpson has told the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star he will buy her an Oscar statuette rather than let her play a porn star.
The 49-year-old told People magazine: "The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star.
"We were promised we would win an Oscar with that.
"I told them, 'I think we'll just buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on'."
Jessica shot to fame in MTV reality show 'The Newlyweds' about her marriage to ex-husband Nick Lachey, while her younger sister Ashlee, 22, starred in MTV's 'The Ashlee Simpson Show.'
Joe revealed his daughters are now constantly asked to star in a variety of different reality shows.
He said: "We're pitched those a lot. There are a lot of cool ones, and a lot of really strange ones.
"But both girls are very busy, and very happy.
"Jessica has three more movies to shoot and she has a new record coming out in September."
