Victoria Beckham has claimed that American people don't understand her "ironic" sense of humour, after her television show was slated in the US.
According to ITV, the 33-year-old recently told a magazine that her reality show 'Victoria Beckham: Coming to America' was supposed to be humourous.
The Spice Girl said: "I hope everybody understood the dry, ironic British humour."
"I really don't sunbathe in high heels with a full face of make-up. It shows I don't take myself too seriously."
After her show was aired in the US, the New York Times said that such reality shows "rely on a fish-out-of-water conceit but in Beverly Hills she is a fish-in-Evian, one rich, blonde, spray tanned wife-of among many".
