In an interview with NBC television's 'Today' show, JK Rowling said that she "probably will" publish a Potter encyclopaedia.
'Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows', the seventh and final volume in the series about the teenage wizard, was released on Saturday and has become the fastest selling book in history.
Talking about the encyclopaedia, Rowling indicated that it would include back stories about many of the characters in the series ("I've said before that Dean Thomas had a much more interesting history than ever appeared in the books").
"I suppose I have [started] because the raw material is all in my notes," she told 'Today' presenter Meredith Vieira.
But it is not something that will happen immediately. "I'm not going to do it tomorrow because I'd really like a break," Rowling said, "so you may be waiting."
