New 'ER' star Stanley Tucci has joined the cast of Peter Jackson's adaptation of the Alice Sebold bestseller 'The Lovely Bones'.
Tucci, who plays Dr Kevin Moretti in 'ER', will play the role of killer George Harvey in the film, which also stars Rachel Weisz, Ryan Gosling and young Irish actress Saoirse Ronan.
'The Lovely Bones' tells the story of Susie Salmon (Ronan), a murdered girl who observes her family and killer from heaven.
Filming on 'The Lovely Bones' will begin in October in Pennsylvania and New Zealand.
