Filming has begun in Los Angeles on 'Private Practice', the spinoff series from 'Grey's Anatomy'.
The series follows Dr Addison Forbes Montgomery (Kate Walsh) as she takes up a new position at a clinic in Santa Monica where two of her friends from medical school (Audra McDonald and Taye Diggs) work.
Like in 'Grey's Anatomy', there are personal and professional dilemmas for all the staff.
The press release for the series says: "At Oceanside Wellness Center, the doctors are dedicated pros; it's their private lives that need a little practice."
'Private Practice' premieres on US television in the autumn.
