Reports in Britian say the seventh Harry Potter book has been leaked onto the web.

An internet intelligence company - based in Cambridge - claims its found a copy of 'The Deathly Hallows' overnight in the form of around five hundred photographs.

Millions of euros has been spent on shielding the Harry Potter secret ahead of the novel's release on Saturday which reportedly included secret warehouses, round-the-clock security and, according to Britain's The Sunday Telegraph, satellite tracking systems attached to trucks transporting the books to ensure they did not stray from assigned routes.

The book's US publisher, Scholastic, appears to be furiously trying to suppress the leak. Various sites have since removed the download and are preventing users from re-adding them.

Scholastic would neither confirm nor deny the authenticity of the leaked version, and, in an official statement, Scholastic repeated the response it has given following previous claimed leaks.

"Anyone can post anything on the internet and you can't believe everything you see online," the publisher said.
