Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty was pulled over by police yesterday, just hours after leaving a rehab clinic.
According to The Sun, the singer was fined by the officers for throwing rubbish out of the window of a minicab.
Police questioned the singer and then handed Doherty a £100 fine for littering Regent Park in London.
A witness told the newspaper: "He looked pretty sheepish, like he was embarrassed to get done for such yobbish antics."
"He scrabbled around in his pockets to find papers that could prove who he was."
"The policeman gave him a stern ticking-off, then issued him with the fine. It looked like he got a severe warning."
Doherty's solicitor Steve Curran confirmed that the singer was due to begin his detox programme in rehab next Monday.
