Police in LA are investigating allegations that Paris Hilton received special treatment during her twenty three days in Los Angeles County jail, the LA Times reported today.
There are allegations that the hotel heiress had free access to a mobile phone, while other inmates have to queue to use a payphone during set hours.
It is also alleged that she was given a new jail uniform, rather than a used one.
The Sheriff’s Department launched an internal inquiry into whether Hilton got special perks in jail yesterday.
Hilton was imprisoned for violating probation in an alcohol-related drink driving case.
