The dream has finally come true for another Joseph hopeful from TV talent show 'Any Dream Will Do,' who has landed the lead role in a touring version of the musical.
Craig Chalmers, 26, who came fifth in the BBC1 show, will star in 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' from next month when it opens in Bromley, south London.
Meanwhile, 'Any Dream Will Do' winner Lee Mead will be on stage in the West End, just a few miles down the road, reports the Daily Mirror.
Scottish Craig, who is an ex-boyband member, apparently found it hard to summon the same stage presence as his rivals during the TV show.
But he said at the time: "I would like to use my pop background to give Joseph a more up-to-date and modern image."
The touring production of Joseph is due to start on 20 August, while the West End show begins on Tuesday.
