Fran Healy, lead singer of Travis, confronted a drunk fan during a gig at Sherwood Forest in the UK this weekend, according to tabloid reports.
A report in The Sun explains that a drunk member of the audience was causing trouble at the front of the crowd by starting small fights throughout the concert, provoking the singer.
Frontman Healy took it upon himself to put down his guitar mid-show and confront the troublesome drunk, who was consequently thrown out of the show - winning the singer a standing ovation from fans.
A fan said: "It was strange - they must be one of the least lairy bands around. But they came on stage to the Rocky film soundtrack - I think a fighter in the crowd clearly took it too seriously."
